Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
At Southport Workwear, we do everything we can to get your order spot-on first time. We know how important your branded workwear is — whether it’s hi-vis for the site or polos for the team. Here’s our straightforward policy on cancellations, returns, and refunds.
1. Cancellations If you need to cancel your order, let us know as soon as possible on 01704 829966 or info@southportworkear.com
- If we haven’t begun production, we’ll cancel and refund you in full, no questions asked.
- Unfortunately, once we’ve started production, we can’t cancel or refund. Custom items are made specially for you.
2. Returns & Refunds for Custom/Branded Workwear Because most of our orders are custom embroidered, printed, or personalised, these items can’t be returned or refunded if you simply change your mind, order the wrong size, or don’t like the final look (after approving the proof). This is standard for custom goods under UK law because they’re made just for you.
We will always:
- Fully refund or replace if the item is faulty, damaged, not as described, or there’s been an error on our side (wrong colour, bad stitching, etc.).
- Cover return shipping costs if it’s our mistake or the goods are faulty.
3. Non-Custom / Blank Stock Items If you ordered plain (unbranded) garments from our stock range and haven’t had them embroidered/printed:
- You can return them within 28 days of delivery if they’re unworn, unwashed, with all tags still on, and in original packaging.
- We’ll refund the full amount (minus any delivery fees if you chose a premium option).
- You pay the return postage unless the item is faulty or wrong.
4. Faulty or Wrong Items If something arrives damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered:
- Tell us within 48 hours of delivery (give us a ring or email with photos if possible – it helps us sort it fast).
- We’ll arrange a repair, replacement, or full refund and we’ll cover the costs to get it back to us.
Your statutory rights are not affected by anything in this policy.
5. How Refunds Work
- Refunds go back to the original payment method.
- We process them as soon as we’ve checked the returned items (usually within 5–10 working days).
- If it’s our error, we’ll refund everything, including delivery costs.
