Southport Workwear is an independent, family-run supplier of workwear, PPE and branded uniforms. From our Southport showroom and warehouse, we help sole traders, growing businesses and larger organisations across the UK stay safe, feel comfortable and look professional at work.
“Big enough to cope, small enough to care” might be a bit of a cliché these days, but it’s exactly how we see ourselves. We have the experience and in-house production capability to kit out the biggest teams, while still taking pride in giving every customer the kind of personal service you would expect from a small family business.

Why we are here
A better way to buy workwear
We started Southport Workwear after seeing the same frustrations from several directions. Businesses were often left choosing between an enormous, impersonal catalogue and a small clothing printer with limited product choice. Ordering branded garments could feel slow, complicated and burdened with setup charges.
Closer to home, Southport and the surrounding area lacked a specialist place where people could compare recognised workwear brands, feel the difference between garments and try them on before buying.
We set out to bring the best parts together: a proper workwear range, a local showroom, straightforward in-house customisation and a knowledgeable team customers can actually speak to. Just as importantly, we want to build a business that creates good local jobs, treats people well and contributes to the town around it.

Our core team has worked together for 13 years, supporting business customers, managing stock, running warehouses and fulfilling orders nationwide. That experience shapes how we communicate, plan and solve problems.

Skilled garment production
Our garment production lead has more than a decade of embroidery experience. Artwork preparation, printing and embroidery are handled in-house as standard, giving us direct control over quality and consistency.

Design and practical insight
Our lead graphic designer brings more than 25 years of experience. Across the wider team, backgrounds in construction, farming, retail, healthcare, hospitality and corporate workplaces help us understand what different customers need from their clothing.

We do not see plain workwear and branded uniforms as separate businesses. Many customers need both, and our job is to make either route straightforward.
