The 3M DT-4036E CF22 A2B2E1P3 R D combination filter is for work where the air may hold a mix of particulates, gases and vapours. One filter covers organic gases and vapours, inorganic gases and vapours, and acid gases and vapours, along with a wide range of particles.
It fits certain 3M tight-fitting half and full-face respirators used in negative-pressure mode. It also works with the 3M Powered Air Respirator System PF-600 Series, so you can use the same filter type across both setups.

Classification by respirator mode
The gas and vapour classification depends on how you use the filter. Fitted to a half or full-face respirator in negative-pressure mode, it carries an A2 classification. Used with approved powered air systems, it carries an A1 classification.
