The 3M E·A·Rsoft Metal Detectable earplugs are designed for food manufacturing, where any item worn on the production floor needs to be easy to find. Each earplug contains a stainless steel ball and is joined to a blue detectable cord, so it can be picked up by metal detection equipment.
The slow-expanding polyurethane foam expands gently in the ear canal. It spreads pressure evenly and flexes to give a good seal. You get high noise reduction, with an SNR of 36dB.

Understanding the attenuation ratings
The SNR of 36dB is a single overall figure for noise reduction. The H, M and L values show performance across high, medium and low frequency noise: 34dB, 34dB and 31dB respectively. Use them to match the earplugs to the type of noise in your workplace.
