The Click Medical PAcT (Public Access Trauma Kit) supports the first response to immediate, life-threatening injuries. It covers major bleeding and casualties who are unresponsive with absent or abnormal breathing.
It is intended for publicly accessible locations where people can reach it quickly. Anyone can use it, whatever their level of first aid training, to support first aid until the emergency services arrive. An injured person who is able to treat themselves can also use it.
Key features
- Tourniquets and large trauma dressings for controlling major bleeding
- Face shields for use with a casualty who is unresponsive with absent or abnormal breathing
- Aide memoire cards guide the user through first aid steps, helpful for those with little or no training
- Nitrile gloves, disposable face masks and disposable glasses protect the person giving first aid
- Tuff cut scissors for cutting through clothing to reach a wound
- Indelible marker pens for recording information, such as the time a tourniquet was applied
- Foil blankets help keep a casualty warm while waiting for the emergency services
