The MSA V-Gard Standard Frame lets you fit a V-Gard visor to an MSA slotted helmet. It suits anyone who needs face protection attached to their helmet and wants the freedom to choose from a wide range of V-Gard visors.
The frame works with or without ear defenders. When you fit ear defenders, the adapters stow away on the frame, so small parts stay together and are less likely to go missing.

Frame made from HDPE.
Standards and protection
When worn with an appropriate visor, the frame is certified to EN 166 3 (liquids), 8 (resistance to short circuit electric arc), 9 (non adherence of molten metals and resistance to penetration of hot solids), B (medium energy impact, 120 m/s) and T (impact resistance at extreme of temperatures, -5/+55°C). With an appropriate visor, it is also certified to EN 1731 F (low energy impact, 45 m/s).
