This 1.8m energy absorbing lanyard from MSA is fall protection for work at height, including leading edge applications. It limits the force passed to your body during a fall arrest.
Each end is built for straightforward pre-use checks, and the lanyard tells you when it has reached the end of its working life. A twist-lock carabiner at one end and a scaffolding hook at the other give you two connection options.

- Approved for leading edge use, so it can be used where the lanyard may run over an edge
- Maximum arrest force of 6kN reduces the load on your body if a fall is arrested
- Cross stitching under a strong transparent sleeve protects the ends and keeps the stitching visible for easy inspection
- Abrasion-resistant thimbles in the end loops protect the rope from wear caused by contact with the metal connectors
- Colour tracer strand fades over time to show when the lanyard is unfit for further use
- Galvanised alloy steel twist-lock carabiner with a minimum breaking strength of 23kN and a 60mm gate opening
- Aluminium alloy scaffolding hook with a minimum breaking strength of 23 kN and a 16 mm gate opening
