Materials and performance

Fitted with a soft TPR (thermoplastic rubber) nose piece. The glasses are 100% metal free.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN 166 (1 FT K N), marked on the lens for optical class 1, low-energy impact at extremes of temperature, resistance to surface damage by fine particles (K) and resistance to fogging (N). The amber lens meets EN 170 2-1.2 and the clear lens EN 170 2C-1.2; the indoor/outdoor mirror lens meets EN 172 5-1.7 and the smoke lens EN 172 5-3.1.

Choosing a lens

Clear and amber lenses carry EN 170 ultraviolet filter ratings. Smoke and indoor/outdoor mirror lenses carry EN 172 sunglare filter ratings for brighter conditions. The polarised lens has UV400 protection and helps reduce glare outdoors.
