How to measure for Snickers Workwear

Ask someone to help if possible. Measure over close-fitting clothing, keep the tape level and hold it close to the body without pulling it tight.

ABody length

Measure from the top of the head to the sole of the foot.

BChest

Measure horizontally around the widest part of the chest.

CWaist

Measure horizontally around the body at navel height.

DLower waist

Measure around the body where you normally wear your trousers.

ESeat

Measure horizontally around the widest part of the seat.

FInside leg

Measure from the crotch to the sole of the foot with the tape fully extended.

Choosing between sizes: use the measurement most important to the garment. For tops and jackets, start with the chest. For trousers, use the waist or lower waist together with the inside leg. Allow for any layers you expect to wear underneath.

Men’s Snickers topwear sizes

XS–XL measurements are the same for all styles. From 2XL upwards, choose the standard or new grading below according to the product’s style number.

Does your style use the new grading?

The following styles use the new grading from 2XL upwards:

T-shirts and polos: 2450, 2496, 2502, 2512, 2540, 2544, 2550, 2559, SSC2026, 2586, 2588, 2608, 2708, 2718 and 2750.

Sweatshirts and hoodies: 2010, 2011, 2018, 2045 and 2046.

Fleece and midlayers: 8006, 8016 and 8451.

Stay Fresh: 2454, 2456, 2556 and 2956.

ProtecWork: 2360, 2363, 2460, 2461, 2463, 2562, 2564, 2861, 2862, 2863, 2866, 2868, 2869 and 9462.

If a style number is not in this list, use the standard men’s topwear chart unless the product page states otherwise.

Knee-pad positioning matters. Choosing the correct leg length helps the knee pockets and other leg features sit in the intended position. Check the size options on the individual product, as not every width is offered in every leg length.

Use this chart for Snickers bottoms supplied in letter sizes, including relevant rainwear and pull-on garments. These products use a regular 82cm / 32in inside leg unless the individual product states otherwise.

Snickers sizing questions

Use the product page together with the relevant chart above. We can also help if you are ordering for a team or comparing sizes across different workwear brands.

They are body measurements. Measure your body as described above and compare the result with the appropriate chart. The finished garment includes the ease and construction intended for that particular style.

XS–XL use one shared chart. From 2XL upwards, selected styles use closer size steps under the new grading. Check the visible style list in the men’s topwear section, then use the standard or new chart for your product.

Measure your waist or lower waist and select the closest numeric width. Then measure your inside leg and choose the available leg length that is closest to your measurement. Correct leg length helps knee pockets sit in the intended position.

Consider the garment type, the layers you will wear underneath and the movement your work requires. For close-fitting trousers, compare the lower waist and seat as well as the waist. If you are still uncertain, contact us before ordering.
