The Blåkläder 2498 STRIKER is a waterproof safety boot for professionals in building, transport, maintenance, repair and operations. A microporous membrane keeps your feet dry in wet conditions, and the hard-wearing ripstop upper is reinforced at the toe and heel where boots take the most wear.

Inside, a neoprene tongue and padded shaft shape around the foot, and an anatomical ETPU insole cushions each step. The Freelock system lets you adjust the fit and get the boots on and off quickly during a busy day.

Materials and performance

Upper in durable textile ripstop with polyester lining. Insole in textile with responsive ETPU. Sole with a double-layer PU midsole, nylon shank and nitrile rubber outsole. NANO composite toe cap and textile PS nail penetration protection.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 S7S FO SR HRO SC, covering water resistance, fuel and oil resistance, slip resistance, a heat-resistant outsole (HRO 300) and a scuff cap for toe abrasion. ESD approved (conforms to IEC 61340-5-1).

Triple-density sole

The sole is built in three layers. A dual-density PU midsole balances stability with cushioning and absorbs shock, a nylon shank adds support underfoot, and the nitrile rubber outsole provides durable grip.
