The Blåkläder 4898 is a men’s base layer top for work where you may be exposed to heat, flame or electric arc. The protection is built into the fibres, so it stays permanent for the life of the garment.

A high collar extends coverage up the neck. The rib-knitted fabric is anti-static and has a good weight for a base layer, worn next to the skin beneath your other protective clothing.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN 1149-5, EN ISO 11612 A1, B1, C1 and EN 61482-2 APC 1, with an EBT of 8,2 cal/cm² and an ELIM of 7,3 cal/cm². The fabric is also certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
