Materials and performance

44% modacrylic, 30% cotton, 20% FR polyamide, 5% aramid and 1% antistatic fibre, woven as a flame-resistant, antistatic ripstop fabric at 260 g/m². The knees are reinforced with CORDURA®/Kevlar®/Protal®.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN ISO 11612 A1, A2, B1, C1, E2, F1, EN ISO 11611 Class 1 A1+A2, EN 1149-5, EN 13034 PB [6], EN ISO 20471 Class 2, EN 14404-3 when worn with Blåkläder knee protection 4027, 4037 or 4057, and OEKO-TEX Standard 100. Under EN 61482-2 the trousers are rated APC 1 (ATPV 11 cal/cm², ELIM 10 cal/cm²), with the lined parts rated APC 2 (ATPV 26 cal/cm², ELIM 23 cal/cm²).

Fit and sizing

All Blåkläder trousers fit on the small side. Please order at least one waist size bigger than usual. See our Blåkläder Sizing Guide for detailed information.

Knee protection and leg adjustment

The knee pad pockets are reinforced with CORDURA® and take Blåkläder knee pads 4027, 4037 or 4057. Plastic snap buttons let you adjust the width of the leg bottoms. An extension feature at the hem lets you add length to the legs in most sizes. A men’s version is available as Blåkläder 1492.
