This glove is built for work where electrical, thermal and mechanical hazards meet, such as utilities, electrical maintenance, energy and industrial sites. It combines arc flash protection, flame resistance and cut resistance, so one pair covers several risks.
The fine 18-gauge knit keeps the glove close to the hand for precise handling of small parts and tools. A flame-resistant neoprene coating on the palm adds grip. The flame-resistant properties are inherent to the yarn, which stops burning once the ignition source is removed.
Key features
- Arc flash rating of 12 cal/cm² helps protect the hands from the sudden heat and energy of an arc flash
- Level C cut resistance guards against sharp edges and materials
- Protection against contact heat up to 100°C for handling warm parts and surfaces
- Inherently flame-resistant yarn self-extinguishes once the flame source is removed
- Flame-resistant neoprene coated palm gives a secure grip on tools and components
- Fine 18-gauge knit gives the dexterity needed for detailed tasks
Materials and performance
Knitted from an 18-gauge flame-resistant yarn blend, with a flame-resistant neoprene coating on the palm.
