This anti-vibration mechanical glove is for people who use jackhammers, concrete breakers and similar vibrating tools. It suits construction, joinery and masonry work, where long spells on powered equipment are part of the job.
The shock-absorbing palm reduces the effects of hand arm vibration while keeping the glove low in bulk. You keep a good feel for tools and controls, and a wrist strap holds the glove securely in place.

Standards and protection
Certified to EN ISO 21420: 2020 with Dexterity 5, EN 388: 2016 + A1: 2018 (2322B) for mechanical protection, and EN 10819:2016 +A1:2019 for vibration, with recorded transmissibility values of TRm = 0.745 and TRh = 0.559.
Fit and sizing
See our Portwest Sizing Guide for detailed information.
Understanding the vibration rating
TRm and TRh show how much vibration reaches the hand at medium and high frequencies. A value below 1 means the glove passes on less vibration than the tool produces, so lower figures mean better reduction.
