The DX4 Hi-Vis Rain Trousers are waterproof, breathable overtrousers for outdoor work where you need to stay visible and dry. The stretch shell moves with you as you bend, kneel and climb, and the mesh lining adds a light inner layer.

Nine pockets, a hammer loop and knee pad pockets mean you can carry tools and wear knee protection without a separate belt or kit. Side zips at the leg openings make them easier to get on and off.

Materials and performance

Shell: Portwest Extreme Waterproof and Breathable, 100% polyester stretch, 150D, with PU membrane, 160g. Lining: 100% polyester mesh, 60g.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN 343 Class 4:3 X (WP 20,000MM, MVP 10,000g/m2/24hrs), and to EN ISO 20471 Class 1 in size 28 and EN ISO 20471 Class 2 from size 30 upwards, after 25 washes. The orange version from size 30 upwards also complies with RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2 for the rail industry.

Pockets and storage

There are 9 pockets in total. Two zipped side pockets keep valuables secure, with a thigh pocket and a zipped side thigh pocket for items you need often. A double rule pocket holds a folding rule, two back patch pockets add extra space, and bottom-loading knee pad pockets take knee pads so you can kneel in comfort.
