The Portwest ESX11 ES1 Essential Work Trouser is a hard-wearing polycotton work trouser for kneeling work and jobs that need plenty of storage. Bottom-loading knee pad pockets hold inserts in place, and seven pockets keep tools and small items to hand.

An anti-scratch build with a concealed button closure keeps metal parts covered, which helps protect vehicles, furniture and finished surfaces. The trousers are also metal detector friendly, and hook-and-loop hem fastenings and an extendable leg let you adjust the length to suit.

Materials and performance

Kingsmill Polycotton: 65% Polyester, 35% Cotton, 245g. The fabric is non-shrinking, so the trousers keep their shape wash after wash.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN 14404: 2004 + A1: 2010 Type 2 Level 0 when used in combination with Portwest S156 knee pads.

Knee protection

The knee pad pockets load from the bottom, so pads slide in and out easily. Fit the S156 knee pads to reach the certified knee protection level.

Care

Machine wash at 60°C
Do not bleach
Tumble dry at normal temperature
Drip dry
Iron at a medium temperature (max 150°C)
Can be professionally dry cleaned
