The Portwest EV465 EV4 Hi-Vis Shell Jacket is a lightweight, 3-layer waterproof shell for year-round outdoor work where you need to be seen. Its 4-way stretch fabric and Acti-Reach one-panel construction let you reach, turn and twist freely, so it suits active work in wet and windy weather.

Taped seams, a narrow triple storm flap and water-resistant zips keep rain out. A longer back, wind cuffs, chin guard and adjustable hem seal out the weather, while reinforced elbows handle wear in high-abrasion areas.

Materials and performance

Shell: Portwest Extreme Waterproof and Breathable fabric, a 3-layer 100% polyester stretch 75D x 75D twill with a PU membrane bonded to 100% polyester 30D tricot, 150g. Elbow patches: 100% nylon 500D Taslan, 290g.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 2 after 25x washes and to EN 343 Class 4:4 X (WP 20,000MM, MVP 10,000g/m2/24hrs). The orange version also meets RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2.

Durable water-repellent finish

The fabric carries an eco-conscious water-repellent finish that makes rain bead and run off the surface. This helps the outer fabric shed water quickly in prolonged wet weather.
