The Portwest FR12 Modaflame Knit FR Sweatshirt is a multi-norm sweatshirt for workers exposed to heat in their working environment. It protects against radiant, convective and contact heat, and offers arc protection in a familiar, easy-to-wear sweatshirt style.

The flame resistance is built into the fibres, so it stays effective through washing. Anti-static properties make it suitable for ATEX and ESD environments, and an external standards label lets you check its protection levels at a glance.

Materials and performance

Modaflame Knit: 60% Modacrylic, 39% Cotton, 1% Carbon Fibre, 300g. The high cotton content gives a soft feel, while the carbon fibre supports the anti-static performance.

Certified to EN ISO 11612 (A1, B1, C1, F1), EN 1149-5, EN 61482-2 with EN 61482-1-1 (ELIM 9.2 cal/cm², ATPV 15 cal/cm²) and EN 61482-2 with EN 61482-1-2 APC 1. It is CE Category III personal protective equipment.
