These trousers are made for aluminium, iron and steel works, where molten metal splash, heat and flame are everyday hazards. The Aluflame Work fabric is inherently flame resistant, so the protection is part of the fibre itself.
One garment covers several risks, including welding, arc flash and static build-up, which simplifies kit for multi-hazard sites. Practical touches such as a rule pocket, a half elasticated waist and an extendable leg suit long shifts on the plant floor.
