The Portwest FR710 is a quarter-zip sweatshirt for workers exposed to heat in their working environment. It protects against radiant, convective and contact heat, and it is suitable for wear in ATEX environments.

The zipped collar lets you open the neck when you are warm and close it when you need cover. Ribbed cuffs and hem keep the sweatshirt neatly in place as you move, and the segmented reflective tape helps you stay visible.

Certified to EN ISO 11612 (A1, B1, C1, F1), EN 1149-5, EN 61482-2 with EN 61482-1-1 (ELIM 9.2 CAL/CM², APTV 15 CAL/CM²), EN 61482-2 with EN 61482-1-2 APC 1 and EN 17353 Type B2. It is classed as CE-CAT III protective clothing.

Fabric construction

The Modaflame knit blends modacrylic for inherent flame resistance with a high cotton content for a soft feel against the skin. A small proportion of carbon fibre gives the fabric its anti-static properties.
