The Portwest FR718 PW3 Modaflame Softshell Jacket is a high-visibility outer layer for work where several hazards meet at once. It protects against flame, radiant and convective heat, electric arc, light chemical splash and static build-up, so you can wear one jacket across a range of risks.
The 3 layer softshell is breathable, windproof and water resistant, which helps keep you comfortable in cold, exposed conditions. Acti-Reach construction and a dropped back hem keep you covered and mobile when reaching, turning and twisting.

Materials and performance
Modaflame Softshell HV: 100% polyester, laminated to a TPU FR membrane and bonded with 60% modacrylic, 39% cotton and 1% carbon fibre. Fabric weight 350g.
Standards and protection
Certified to EN ISO 11612 (A1 B1 C2), EN ISO 11611 Class 2 (A1), EN 1149-5, EN 61482-2 EN 61482-1-2 APC 2, EN 61482-2 EN 61482-1-1 (ELIM 17 cal/cm², ATPV 20 cal/cm²), EN 13034 Type 6 and EN ISO 20471 Class 2. The orange version also meets RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2.

ATEX areas and metal detection
The jacket is anti-static and suitable to be worn in an ATEX environment. Its trims are non-magnetic and free from nickel and ferrous metals, making it metal detector friendly for sites with security or product screening.
