The Portwest PS57 Expertbase Wheel Safety Helmet is an unvented hard hat for work involving electrical applications. Its high-density polypropylene shell sits on a 4-point textile suspension harness, with a soft foam sweatband fitted inside.
A wheel ratchet on the headband adjusts the fit from 55-62cm, so you can set it quickly and evenly. It also accepts PW42 clip-on ear muffs when you need hearing protection too.

Standards and protection
Certified to EN 397 (-10°C / +50°C, LD, 440V a.c.), covering use from -10°C to +50°C, lateral deformation and electrical properties at 440Vac, and to EN 50365 Class 0, giving electrical insulation up to 1000Vac or 1500Vdc. The helmet is also UKCA marked.
Service life
The helmet has a lifetime of up to 7 years from its manufacturing date, as long as it remains undamaged.
