The Portwest PW389 is a women’s hi-vis rain jacket, designed and tested by women, for outdoor work in wet and windy weather. Its breathable, windproof shell has taped seams and waterproof zips to keep the rain out, while underarm pit zips let you release heat when you are working hard.

Seven pockets give you room for a phone, tablet, ID and other essentials, and radio loops keep a radio within easy reach. The hood is concealed and detachable, so you can remove it when the weather clears.

Materials and performance

Shell: 300D breathable 100% polyester Oxford, 190g, with a stain-resistant finish and double PU coating. Lining: 100% polyester mesh, 60g. The fabric is UPF 40+ rated, blocking 98% of UV rays.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 2 after 50 washes and to EN 343 Class 4:3 X, with 10,000mm waterproofing and 10,000g/m²/24hrs breathability. The orange version also meets RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2.
