The Portwest RT61 Hi-Vis Breathable Rain Trousers are a waterproof outer layer for work near traffic, on the rail and anywhere you need to stay visible in wet weather. They go on over your normal work trousers, so you can add them when the rain starts.

Side access slits with plackets and zipped leg openings make them easy to pull on over boots. The breathable, windproof fabric helps you stay drier from the inside during active work. Reflective tape helps others see you in low light.

Materials and performance

100% polyester 300D Oxford, double PU coated, with a stain resistant finish. Fabric weight 190g. The fabric is UPF 40+ rated and blocks 98% of UV rays.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 2 after 50 washes and EN 343 Class 4:3 X (WP 10,000mm, MVP 10,000g/m²/24hrs), and UKCA marked. The orange version also complies with RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2 for the rail industry.

Wearing over work trousers

Pull them on over your usual trousers using the side zips and placket slits. The pass-through pockets let you reach tools, phone or keys in the trousers underneath without taking the rain trousers off.
