Materials and performance

Portwest Extreme Waterproof and Breathable fabric: a 100% polyester 150D outer with a PU membrane bonded to a 100% polyester 20D tricot, 205g.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN 343 Class 4:4 X, with waterproofing of 20,000mm and breathability (MVP) of 30,000g/m2/24hrs. The jacket is also UKCA marked.

3-layer construction

The outer fabric, membrane and inner tricot are bonded into a single layer. This keeps the jacket light and durable, and the smooth tricot lining sits comfortably over a midlayer.
