The Portwest S599 Hi-Vis Extreme Rain Jacket (3L) is a high-visibility shell for outdoor work in wet, windy weather. Its 3-layer fabric is lightweight and durable, with taped seams and a storm flap front to keep rain out. Orange versions also meet rail industry requirements.

It is also practical to work in. Seven pockets, a pen division, a radio loop and a dual ID holder keep tools, phone and identification close at hand. The detachable hood lets you adapt the jacket as conditions change.

Materials and performance

Portwest Extreme waterproof and breathable fabric: 100% polyester stretch 75D x 75D twill, 3-layer construction with a PU membrane bonded to 100% polyester 30D tricot, 160g.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 3, maintained after 50 washes, and to EN 343 Class 4:4 X (WP 20,000mm, MVP 10,000g/m²/24hrs). The orange version also complies with RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2 for rail work.
