Materials and performance

Portwest Extreme Waterproof and Breathable fabric: 100% polyester stretch 75D x 75D twill in a 3-layer (3L) construction, with a PU membrane bonded to a 100% polyester 30D tricot, 160g.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 2 after 25 washes and to EN 343 Class 4:4 X, with waterproofing of 20,000mm and moisture vapour permeability of 10,000g/m²/24hrs. The orange version also complies with RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2 for the rail industry.

Carrying your kit

There are three pockets: a zipped chest pocket and two zipped side pockets. All three stay accessible when you wear a harness. Radio loops let you clip a radio within easy reach, and an ID card holder keeps your pass on display.
