The Snickers 1561 ProtecWork Jacket is a protective hi-vis jacket for hazardous work where several risks occur together. It suits welding and allied processes, work near heat, flame or electric arc, and sites with liquid chemical splash or static-sensitive areas, while giving you the highest class of visibility.
The fabric is durable yet supple. Pre-bent sleeves and stretch panels let you reach, bend and lift with less restriction. A high collar adds protection at the neck.

Materials and performance
Main fabric: 49% modacrylic Protex®, 42% cotton, 5% aramid, 3% polyamide, 1% antistatic fibre, 300g/m². Lining: 50% meta-aramid, 50% viscose FR, 120 g/m².
Standards and protection
Certified to EN 20471 – High visibility clothing, EN 1149-5 – Protective clothing electrostatic properties, EN ISO 11611 – Protective clothing for use in welding and allied processes, EN 11612 – Protective clothing against heat and flame, EN 13034 – Protective clothing against liquid chemicals, and EN 61482-2:2020 – Protective clothing against the thermal hazards of an electric arc.

Arc protection levels
The jacket carries two arc ratings. The garment as a whole is rated ELIM 13 cal/cm² APC 1 (4kA). The front and sleeves, which are most exposed when you face your work, have a higher rating of ATPV 27,6 cal/cm² APC 2 (7kA).
Care
- Do not bleach
- Tumble dry at normal temperature
- Iron at a low temperature (max 110°C)
- Follow the garment label for washing instructions
