The Snickers 1860 ProtecWork Insulated Parka High-Vis Class 3 is a warm, protective outer layer for high-risk work areas and hazardous environments. It combines high visibility with certified protection against several hazards, including heat and flame, electric arc, welding spatter, static and cold.

The PU-laminated outer fabric sits over insulating padding and a flame-resistant lining. Plenty of pockets inside and out keep tools, a tablet, an ID card and gloves organised. Adjustable cuffs help hold in warmth on cold days.

Materials and performance

Main fabric: 55% modacrylic Protal®, 44% cotton, 1% antistatic fibre, PU laminated, 265 g/m². Lining: 40% modacrylic, 37% Lenzing viscose FR, 22% regenerated viscose, 1% antistatic fibre, 180 g/m². Padding: 100% polyester, 110 g/m².

Standards and protection

Certified to EN 20471 (high visibility clothing) at Class 3, EN 1149-5 (electrostatic properties), EN ISO 11611 (welding and allied processes), EN 11612 (heat and flame), EN 342 (protection against cold) and EN 61482-2:2020 (thermal hazards of an electric arc). Arc protection is rated ELIM 39.8 / ATPV 40.6 cal/cm², APC 2 (7kA).
