The Snickers 2860 ProtecWork Fleece Jacket is a protective fleece layer for work in high-risk areas where heat, flame and electric arc are hazards. It combines flame and arc protection with antistatic properties and the highest class of visibility, so you stay protected and seen in hazardous and low-light conditions.
The soft fleece fabric dries quickly, and it handles a 60 ºC wash and tumble dry, which makes regular cleaning straightforward. A zipped chest pocket with an ID attachment keeps your pass secure and to hand.

50% modacrylic, 30% cotton, 18% polyester and 2% antistatic fibre, 370 g/m².
Standards and protection
Certified to EN 20471 – High visibility clothing, EN 1149-5 – Protective clothing electrostatic properties, EN 11612 – Protective clothing against heat and flame, and EN 61482-2:2020 – Protective clothing against the thermal hazards of an electric arc.

Understanding the arc ratings
ELIM is the incident energy level at which the fabric is expected to show no breakopen and no risk of second-degree burns. EBT50 is the energy level at which there is a 50% chance of the fabric breaking open. APC 1 (4kA) is the box test class, tested at an arc current of 4kA. Check these values against the risk assessment for your site.
Care
- Do not bleach
- Tumble dry at normal temperature
- Iron at a low temperature (max 110°C)
- Follow the garment label for washing instructions
