The Snickers 2866 ProtecWork Arc Full Zip Hoodie is a high-visibility hoodie for work in high-risk environments where arc flash, heat and flame are hazards. It is designed for daily wear across the year, either as an outer layer in milder weather or as a midlayer in colder months.
Worn as a midlayer beneath other protective clothing, it adds insulation and increases arc protection. The full-length zip makes it quick to put on and take off, and the protective placket and chin guard help shield the neck and front opening.
Key features
- Fabric developed for arc-flash protection, reaching ELIM 17 cal/cm² and Arc Protection Class 2 (7kA)
- Inherent heat and flame protection is built into the fibres, so it stays part of the fabric through wear
- Antistatic fibre in the fabric helps dissipate static charge
- Works as a midlayer for extra insulation and enhanced arc protection when combined with other garments
- Two zipped security side pockets keep small items secure
- Two large inner stow pockets give room for gloves or other essentials
- Protective placket and chin guard help shield the zip and neck
- Cuffs with thumb grips help keep sleeves in place and wrists covered
Materials and performance
60% modacrylic Protex, 37% cotton and 3% antistatic Belltron™, 370 g/m².
