The Snickers 2869 ProtecWork Sweatshirt High-Vis Class 1 is a crew neck sweatshirt for men working in high-risk areas where heat, flame, electric arc and static are hazards. It combines arc and flame protection with high visibility in one garment.

It works all year. Wear it on its own or as a mid-layer for extra warmth and added arc protection under your outer protective clothing.

Materials and performance

Navy: 60% modacrylic Protex, 37% cotton, 3% antistatic Belltron™, 370 g/m². High-vis yellow: 60% modacrylic Protex, 38% cotton, 2% antistatic Belltron™, 370 g/m².

Standards and protection

Certified to EN 20471 (high visibility clothing), EN 1149-5 (protective clothing electrostatic properties), EN 11612 (protective clothing against heat and flame) and IEC 61482-2:2018 (protective clothing against the thermal hazards of an electric arc).

Layering

Worn as a mid-layer, the sweatshirt adds insulation in colder conditions and enhances arc protection beneath your protective outer layer. In milder weather, it can be worn on its own.

Do not bleach
Tumble dry at normal temperature
Iron at a medium temperature (max 150°C)
Do not dry clean
Follow the garment label for washing instructions
