Additional information

These ProtecWork bib and brace trousers are for work in high-risk, low-light environments where you need to be seen and protected from electric arc, heat and flame. The modacrylic fabric gives inherent protection, and antistatic fibres are woven in.

The bib adds coverage and storage at the chest, while adjustable shoulder straps let you set it to suit you. Leg pockets for tools, a phone and a ruler keep essentials close to hand.

Materials and performance

Main fabric: 55% modacrylic Protal®, 44% cotton, 1% antistatic fibre, 275 g/m². Reinforcement: 39% modacrylic, 28% polyamide CORDURA®, 17% cotton, 15% aramid, 1% antistatic, 270 g/m².

Standards and protection

Certified to EN 20471 (high visibility clothing) Class 2, EN 1149-5 (electrostatic properties), EN ISO 11611 (welding and allied processes), EN 11612 (heat and flame), EN 14404 (knee protection) and IEC 61482-2:2018 (thermal hazards of an electric arc). Arc protection is rated ELIM 10 cal/cm², APC 1 (4kA).
