The ProtecWork High-Vis Class 2 Work Trousers are multinorm trousers for high-risk environments where you need visibility and protection against heat, flame and electric arc. The protection is inherent to the fabric, so it is built into the fibres themselves.

They suit rail, utilities and industrial work in low light. Holster pockets, tool holders and leg pockets keep your tools organised, and the KneeGuard™ system helps protect your knees when kneeling.

2 leg pockets, each with a large bellows pocket, an inner mobile phone compartment, a pen pocket and a knife holder
2 DuPont™ Kevlar®-reinforced ruler pockets hold sharp tools more securely
2 tool holders in the waist and 2 knife holders keep frequently used tools to hand
2 side pockets and 2 back pockets for everyday items
Cordura®/Aramid-blend reinforced leg endings resist wear where the hems take the most abuse
Sewn-on reflective tape improves visibility in low light

Materials and performance

Main fabric: 31% polyester FR, 28% modacrylic, 20% Aramid Kermel®, 20% viscose FR, 1% antistatic fibre, 320 g/m². Reinforcement: 39% modacrylic, 28% polyamide CORDURA®, 17% cotton, 15% aramid, 1% antistatic fibre, 270 g/m².

Standards and protection

Certified to EN 20471 (high visibility Class 2), EN 1149-5 (electrostatic properties), EN 11612 (heat and flame), EN 14404 (knee protection) and IEC 61482-2:2018 (thermal hazards of an electric arc), with arc protection of ELIM 8 cal/cm² and APC 1 (4kA). The garment also meets Railway Group Standard RIS-3279-TOM for safe work in low-light environments.

For flame protection too, fit Snickers kneepads 9116 (FR), certified together with all ProtecWork trousers.

The KneeGuard™ system positions knee protection where you need it when kneeling. The knees are reinforced with a Cordura®/Aramid blend for added durability on rough ground.
