The Snickers 6286 ProtecWork Work Trousers are protective trousers for high-risk work areas where electric arc, heat and flame are hazards. The modacrylic-based fabric has inherent protective properties, and antistatic fibre helps reduce the risk of static discharge.

They also suit kneeling work, with the KneeGuard™ system for knee protection. Holster pockets, leg pockets and a secure knife holder give you plenty of storage for tools and small items.

Materials and performance

Main fabric: 55% modacrylic Protal®, 44% cotton, 1% antistatic fibre, 275 g/m². Reinforcement: 39% modacrylic, 28% polyamide CORDURA®, 17% cotton, 15% aramid, 1% antistatic, 270 g/m².

Standards and protection

Certified to EN 1149-5 (protective clothing electrostatic properties), EN 11612 (protective clothing against heat and flame), EN 14404 (knee protection) and IEC 61482-2:2018 (protective clothing against the thermal hazards of an electric arc).

For flame protection too, fit Snickers kneepads 9116 (FR), certified together with all ProtecWork trousers.
