The Snickers 6373 ProtecWork Stretch Work Trousers are protective trousers for high-risk work areas and hazardous environments. They suit welders, electrical workers and anyone exposed to heat, flame, electric arc or liquid chemical splashes.

The flame-resistant fabric stretches in two directions, so you can move freely through a working day. A clean design keeps the look tidy. There is plenty of storage on both legs for tools, a pen and your phone.

Materials and performance

Main fabric: 52% modacrylic Protal®, 34% cotton, 10% polyamide FR, 3% elastolefin, 1% antistatic fibre, 320 g/m². Reinforcement: 39% modacrylic, 28% polyamide CORDURA®, 17% cotton, 15% aramid, 1% antistatic fibre, 270 g/m².

Standards and protection

Certified to EN 1149-5 (electrostatic properties), EN ISO 11611 (welding and allied processes), EN 11612 (heat and flame), EN 14404 (knee protection), EN 13034 (liquid chemicals) and EN 61482-2:2020 (thermal hazards of an electric arc). Arc protection is rated ELIM 12 cal/cm², APC 1 (4kA).

Leg pocket layout

The right leg has a large bellows pocket with a flap and Velcro closure, plus a pen pocket and a phone pocket. The left leg has a large bellows pocket and a zipped security pocket for valuables.

Tumble dry at normal temperature
Iron at a medium temperature (max 150°C)
