The Blåkläder 2296 EPIC Safety Boot S3S is a premium women’s safety boot for building and construction, transport, maintenance, repair and service work. It pairs a durable, water-repellent leather upper with a protective, cushioned build for long days on your feet.

A side-mounted Freelock system lets you tighten and adjust the boot quickly through the day. The sole is designed for stability and support on ladders and uneven ground.

Upper: oily treated nubuck leather. Lining: polyester. Insole: textile with responsive ETPU. Sole: PU midsole, nylon shank and nitrile rubber outsole. Toe cap: composite. Nail penetration protection: textile (PS).

Standards and protection

Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 S3S FO SR HRO SC LG, covering a fuel-resistant, slip-resistant and heat-resistant (HRO 300) outsole, scuff cap abrasion and ladder grip. The boot is also ESD approved, conforming to IEC 61340-5-1.

Cushioning and support

Several layers work together underfoot and around the ankle. The anatomically shaped ETPU insole is soft and absorbs shock, and the PU midsole adds further cushioning with each step. A nylon shank supports the sole, while PU foam in two densities inside the boot shaft gives comfort and ankle support.
