The MSA V-Gard 950 is a balanced, lightweight safety helmet for electricians, with an integrated face shield. It suits work where there is a risk of impact to the top of the head, chemical splash, ultraviolet radiation, molten metal splash or electric arc to the face.
A patented visor mechanism keeps the shell low profile and compact. A 4-point chinstrap holds the helmet in place, and it works with hearing protection, so you can build a complete head, face and ear setup.

The helmet is electrically insulating, meeting EN 397:2012 Industrial safety helmets 440 V AC and EN 50365 Insulating helmets for use on low voltage installations 1000 V AC. The face shield meets EN166:2001 personal eye equipment 2C-1,2 1 3 B 8-1-0 9 KN and GS-ET 29 Electric Arc, class 1, 4KA.
Hearing protection
The helmet is compatible with hearing protection, so you can wear ear defenders alongside the face shield in noisy environments.
