The MSA V-Gard 930 is a vented safety helmet with built-in eye protection. It is designed for work where there are top impact hazards to the head and UV and particle hazards to the eyes, so you get head and eye protection from a single piece of equipment.
The low-profile shell has a modern, sports-styled shape. Placed ventilation holes help keep air moving, and a perimeter channel directs rain and debris away from you. The integrated over-spectacles fit over prescription glasses and seal against the face with a rubber seal.

Standards and protection
Certified to EN397:2012 Safety industrial helmets, with the EN397 LD option, and to EN166:2001 personal eye equipment (2C-1,2 1 B K N). The eye marking covers 2C UV filter with enhanced colour recognition, 1,2 clear or amber ocular, optical class 1 for permanent usage, B resistance to medium energy impact 120 m/s, and K and N resistance to scratches and to fogging of oculars.
Wearing with glasses
The over-spectacles are built into the helmet and sit over your own prescription glasses. Their adjustment and rubber seal help them sit comfortably and securely, so you can keep your glasses on throughout the shift.
