The Portwest FR58 is an insulated flame resistant bib and brace built for the demands of offshore work in cold weather. A Bizflame Work cotton outer is paired with flame resistant padding and a flame resistant cotton lining to trap heat and keep you warm.

It is made for practical daily wear. Side leg zips open the legs wide, so you can pull the garment on over large boots. Reflective strips on the legs help you stay visible, and triple stitched seams add strength where it matters.

Shell: Bizflame Work, 99% cotton, 1% carbon fibre, 350g. Lining: 100% cotton flame resistant lining, 170g. Filling: 100% polyester flame resistant filling, 150g.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN ISO 11612 (A1+A2, B1, C1, E2, F1) for protection against radiant, convective and contact heat, and EN ISO 11611 Class 2 (A1+A2) for welding. It also meets EN 1149-5 for anti-static properties, EN 342 (0.321 (M².K/W), 2, X) for cold protection and EN 17353 Type B2 for enhanced visibility, and is CE-CAT III and UKCA marked.

Matching the FR50

The outer shell uses the same Bizflame Work fabric as the Portwest FR50. This version adds flame resistant insulation and a cotton lining, making it the winter choice for colder shifts.

Machine wash at 40°C on a very gentle cycle

Iron at a medium temperature (max 150°C)
