The Portwest PS54 Endurance Plus Helmet is a safety helmet for electrical applications. Its unvented ABS shell suits work near live electrical equipment, and it is certified for use across a wide temperature range.

A 6-point textile suspension harness and wheel ratchet headband give a secure, adjustable fit. A 4-point chin strap comes included, and the helmet works with a range of Portwest visor and hearing protection accessories.

Materials and performance

Unvented ABS shell with a 6-point textile suspension harness.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN 397 (-30°C / +50°C, LD, 440V a.c.), covering very low and high temperature use, lateral deformation and electrical properties. Also certified to EN 50365:2023 Type B (Class 0), giving electrical insulation up to 1000Vac or 1500Vdc.

Compatible accessories

The helmet is compatible with the PS58 helmet visor holder, the PW47 and PS47 clip-on ear muffs and HV extreme ear defenders, so you can add face and hearing protection when the job needs it.
