The Portwest PW50 Expertbase Safety Helmet is a lightweight head protection helmet with an unvented shell, making it suitable for use with electrical applications.

A 4-point harness and slip ratchet headband let you set a secure fit quickly. A soft foam sweatband adds comfort over a long shift. The helmet also accepts Portwest ear muffs and a visor carrier when the job needs extra protection.

Certified to EN 397 (-10°C/+50°C, LD, 440V a.c.), covering use from -10°C to +50°C, lateral deformation and electrical properties at 440Vac, and to EN 50365 Class 0 for electrical insulation up to 1000Vac or 1500Vdc. The helmet is CE Category III and UKCA marked.

Compatible accessories

The helmet is compatible with the Portwest PW42 clip-on ear muffs and the PW58 helmet visor carrier, so you can add hearing protection or a visor when the task requires it.
