The Portwest S425 is a 3-layer hi-vis softshell for outdoor work in wind, showers and grimy conditions where you need to stay visible. A windproof, water-resistant, breathable membrane sits between the shell and a bonded micro polar fleece, giving you a warm, single-layer jacket.

Dark contrast panels on the lower body take the worst of the dirt, so the jacket keeps a cleaner appearance for longer in dirty environments. Reflective tape, a radio loop and secure pockets make it a practical choice for site and rail work.

Materials and performance

94% Polyester, 6% Elastane laminated to 100% Polyester Micro Fleece, 310g. The fabric is UPF 40+ rated, blocking 98% of UV rays.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 3, maintained after 50 washes, and to RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2 for the rail industry in orange. Waterproof and breathability rated at WP 8,000mm and MVP 3,000g/m2/24hr, and UKCA marked.
