These Hi-Vis Extreme Rain Trousers are an outer layer for work in wet, windy conditions where you need to be seen. The 3-layer fabric bonds a breathable membrane between a soft stretch outer and an inner lining. This makes the trousers lightweight and hard-wearing, and keeps you dry from the outside while letting moisture escape from within.

Reflective tape adds visibility in low light. Side zip leg openings make them quick to pull on and take off, and the drawcord waist lets you adjust the fit around your middle.

Materials and performance

Portwest Extreme waterproof and breathable 3L fabric: a 100% polyester stretch 75D x 75D twill outer with a PU membrane bonded to a 100% polyester 30D tricot. Fabric weight 160g.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 2 after 50 washes and to EN 343 Class 4:4 X, with 20,000mm waterproofing and 10,000g/m²/24hrs breathability. The orange version also complies with RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2 for rail work.

Wearing over work trousers

The side pass-through pockets let you reach the pockets of the trousers you are wearing underneath. You can do this without taking the rain trousers off. The side zips make them quicker to pull on over your clothing when the weather turns.
