These hi-vis rain salopettes are built for outdoor work in wet, windy conditions where you need to stay visible. The lower section uses a 3-layer waterproof, windproof and breathable fabric with mechanical stretch, while the upper is a soft stretch jersey that moves with you.

Practical details make them easy to live with on a long shift. A two-way front zip and extra-long side zip opening help you get them on and off over boots, and adjustable hems and inner boot clips keep the legs in place as you work.

Materials and performance

Upper body: 49% polyester, 22% cotton, 22% viscose, 7% elastane stretch single jersey, 310gm. Lower body: Portwest Extreme waterproof and breathable fabric, 100% polyester stretch 75D x 75D twill, 3-layer, with a PU membrane bonded to 100% polyester 30D tricot, 160gm.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 2, maintained after 50 washes, and EN 343 Class 4:4 X (WP 20,000mm, MVP 10,000g/m²/24hrs). The orange version is also certified to RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2.

Building your outfit

The salopettes are designed as the foundation of a complete hi-vis outfit. The heat-applied segmented reflective tape adds visibility in low light, and the jersey upper sits comfortably beneath a jacket of your choice.
