Materials and performance

Shell: Portwest Extreme waterproof and breathable fabric, 100% polyester stretch, 150D, with PU membrane, 170g. Lining: 100% polyester stretch pongee, 80g. Filling: Insulatex™ Pro, 100% polyester, 160g.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 2 after 50 washes, and to RIS 3279 TOM Issue 2 for rail work in Orange/Black. It also meets EN 343 Class 4:1 X (WP 20,000mm) for protection against rain and EN 342 (0.357 M².K/W) for protection against cold, certified up to -36°C.

Helmet and harness use

The detachable hood fits over a safety helmet, with a shaped peak and a 3-point adjustment system to hold it in place. The long double-puller side entry pockets stay easy to open while you wear a harness, and hook and loop cuffs let you seal the sleeves around gloves.
