The Portwest T161 is an overhead high-visibility rain jacket for outdoor work in wet and windy weather, including rail work in the orange version. It is made from Portwest Extreme 3-layer stretch fabric, which is waterproof, windproof and breathable. The soft-touch fabric stays light and moves with you.

Its design suits active work. Stretch panelling, an Acti-Reach panel and pre-bent sleeves help when you reach, turn and twist. Radio loops, an ID card holder and a tool pocket keep essential kit close to hand.

Materials and performance

Portwest Extreme waterproof and breathable fabric: 100% Polyester Stretch 75D x 75D Twill 3L, with a PU membrane bonded to 100% Polyester 30D Tricot, 160g.

Standards and protection

Certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 2 (after 50 washes) and EN 343 Class 4:4 X, with a waterproof rating of 20,000mm and a moisture vapour permeability of 10,000g/m²/24hrs. The orange version also complies with RIS-3279-TOM Issue 2 for the rail industry.
