The Snickers 1162 ProtecWork Waterproof Insulated Hood Jacket High-Vis is built for high-risk outdoor work where you need protection from heat, flame and electric arc as well as from cold, wind and rain. It suits utility, energy and industrial roles where several hazards are present at once.
A laminated outer fabric keeps out wind and rain, while padding adds warmth on cold shifts. Plenty of pockets inside and out keep a tablet, ID card and small tools organised and close to hand.

Materials and performance
Main fabric: 55% modacrylic Protal®, 44% cotton, 1% antistatic fibre, PU laminated, 265 g/m². Lining: 40% modacrylic, 37% Lenzing viscose FR, 22% regenerated viscose, 1% antistatic fibre, 180 g/m². Padding: 100% polyester, 110 g/m².

Certified to EN 20471 – High visibility clothing (Class 3 visibility), EN 1149-5 – Protective clothing electrostatic properties, EN ISO 11611 – Protective clothing for use in welding and allied processes, EN 11612 – Protective clothing against heat and flame, EN 342 – Protective clothing against cold, EN 343 – Protective clothing against rain, EN 13034 – Protective clothing against liquid chemicals and EN 61482-2:2020 – Protective clothing against the thermal hazards of an electric arc. Arc protection ratings are ELIM 39.8 / ATPV 40.6 cal/cm², APC 2 (7kA).

Pocket layout
On the outside, a spacious zip pocket holds a tablet and a zipped chest pocket has an internal ID-card holder. Inside, there are two stow pockets with elasticated openings, a zipped chest pocket for valuables and a pen pocket.
