The Snickers 6276 ProtecWork Work Trousers are protective hi-vis trousers for high-risk work areas where electric arc, heat and flame are hazards. The modacrylic-based fabric has inherent protective properties, and antistatic fibres help reduce the build-up of static charge.

They also offer plenty of storage for tools and small items, including two holster pockets, a cargo pocket and a reinforced ruler pocket. The KneeGuard system supports knee protection when you work kneeling.

Materials and performance

Main fabric: 55% modacrylic Protal®, 44% cotton, 1% antistatic fibre, 275 g/m². Reinforcement: 39% modacrylic, 28% polyamide CORDURA®, 17% cotton, 15% aramid, 1% antistatic, 270 g/m².

Standards and protection

Certified to EN 20471 (high visibility clothing), EN 1149-5 (protective clothing electrostatic properties), EN 11612 (protective clothing against heat and flame), EN 14404 (knee protection) and IEC 61482-2:2018 (protective clothing against the thermal hazards of an electric arc).

For flame protection too, fit Snickers kneepads 9116 (FR), certified together with all ProtecWork trousers.

KneeGuard knee protection

The trousers use the Snickers KneeGuard system, designed to position knee protection correctly over the knee. This helps protect your knees when you spend time kneeling during the working day.
