The Snickers 6365 ProtecWork Trousers are heavy-duty protective trousers for high-risk sites and hazardous environments. They suit welders, electrical workers and anyone exposed to heat, flame or electric arc, with high-visibility fabric to keep you seen in dim conditions.

The protection is built into the ripstop modacrylic and aramid fabric, so it will not wash out. Kevlar® panels on the front legs add strength where wear is heaviest and help keep you dry when kneeling. A full pocket layout keeps tools, knives and your phone within reach.

KneeGuard™ knee protection system positions knee pads correctly for kneeling work
Two equal leg pockets, each with a large bellows pocket, inner phone compartment, pen pocket and knife holder, give the same access for left- and right-handed users
Two DuPont™ Kevlar®-reinforced ruler pockets hold sharp tools safely
Two tool holders at the waist and two knife holders keep frequently used tools to hand
Two side pockets and two back pockets add general storage
Antistatic fibre in the fabric helps reduce static build-up

Materials and performance

Main fabric: 49% modacrylic Protex®, 42% cotton, 5% aramid, 3% polyamide, 1% antistatic fibre, 300 g/m². Reinforcement: 100% para-aramid with HS polymer coating, 545 g/m².

Standards and protection

Certified to EN 20471 – High visibility clothing (Class 1), EN ISO 11611 – Protective clothing for use in welding and allied processes (welding class 1), EN 11612 – Protective clothing against heat and flame, EN 14404 – Knee protection, and EN 61482-2:2020 – Protective clothing against the thermal hazards of an electric arc, with arc protection of ATPV 12 cal/cm² and APC 1 (4kA).

Knee protection

The KneeGuard™ system holds knee pads in the right position as you kneel and move. Combined with the Kevlar® reinforcement over the knees, it gives you protection and durability for long periods of kneeling work.
